2 Steak (2.5 cm thick)

1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp Herb butter
6 Tbsps dry white wine
150 grams Basmati rice
1 generous pinch ground saffron

Preparation steps

For the saffron rice, rinse the rice under running water in a colander, drain and put in 1 1/2 times the amount of lightly salted water, bring to a boil, stir in the saffron and leave to swell at a very low heat for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile cook the steaks in hot butter over medium heat on each side 3-5 minutes, depending on preference, season with salt and pepper, wrap in aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven (70°C) for about 8 minutes. Meanwhile coat the shrimp in cornstarch and cook in herb butter and pressed garlic. Pour in white wine and cook everything 5 minutes over low heat, then season with salt and pepper.

Arrange the steaks on plates. stir drippings into the shrimp sauce, spread the sauce over the meat and serve with saffron rice and green salad.
