1 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsps vegetable oil

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the onions, halve and cut into strips. Fry in hot butter and 1 tablespoon oil over low heat for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper and remove from the pan.

Lightly press the steaks flat, season with salt and pepper and brown in a hot pan with the remaining oil for 2-4 minutes on each side (depending on your preference). Add the onions again and serve hot.
