- For the blinis
- 150 grams Pastry flour
- 1 heaping tsp Baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 250 milliliters milk
- 1 pinch salt
- vegetable oil (for cooking)
- 250 grams cream cheese
- 300 grams Smoked salmon
- For the garnish
- Caviar (optional)
- freshly ground peppers
- Watercress
Preparation steps
1.
For the blinis: Whisk the eggs together. Add the milk, flour, baking powder and salt and whisk until combined. In a pan, heat the oil and cook the blinis until golden brown on both sides. Keep warm.

Cut the salmon into small pieces.
3.
Spread the cream cheese over the blinis. Top with the smoked salmon.
4.
Season with pepper and garnish with watercress and caviar, if desired.
