¾ cup Bacon (chopped)
3.333 cups Pork (shoulder or neck; cubed)
2 onions (chopped)
¾ cup Garlic Sausage (sliced)
6 cups white Cabbage (shredded)
1 ⅔ cups Mixed Mushrooms (halved or quartered)
3 Tbsps tomato puree
1 clove garlic cloves
1 tsp Caraway
2 tsps sweet paprika
1 bay leaf
2 cups stock
1 Tbsp fresh marjoram
½ tsp dried marjoram

Preparation steps

1.
Fry the bacon to release the fat, then add the meat and brown on all sides. Add the onions, the sliced sausage and shredded cabbage and fry briefly, turning frequently.
2.
Add the mushrooms to the pan with the tomato puree, crushed garlic and seasonings. Add the stock. Scatter with fresh and dried marjoram, cover and cook over a medium heat for 40 minutes. Do not stir.
3.
Serve garnished with more fresh marjoram.
