Ingredients

- 1 red Bell pepper
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 egg yolk
- 250 grams cream cheese
- 1 tsp hot ground paprika
- 2 Tbsps grated Parmesan
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 350 grams Ground beef
- 1 tsp sharp Mustard
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 4 Hamburger bun (to taste, sesame)
Preparation steps
Rinse bell pepper, cut in half, remove seeds and ribs and dice into small cubes. Peel shallot and garlic and finely chop. Sauté along with bell pepper in a hot pan in oil. Place in a bowl and allow to cool. Combine egg yolk, well drained cheese, paprika and Parmesan and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).
Knead ground beef with mustard and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties and fill each with 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese mixture. Form meat around filling into burgers and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread remaining cream on top and bake until golden brown about 20 minutes in the oven.
Cut rolls horizontally, cover with burgers and serve cut in half.
Serve as desired with potato chips.
