- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs (separated)
- 1 cup chopped, dried Cranberry

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Large knife, 1 Peeler, 1 Fine grater, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Small bowl, 1 Tablespoon, 1 große Bowl, 1 Steamer basket, 1 großer Pot mit Deckel, 1 Slotted spatula, 1 Paper towel
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease a large baking tray.

Sift the flour into a bowl and rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Stir in half the sugar, the vanilla, egg yolks and cranberries and mix to a dough.

Roll out the dough 1.5 cm| 1/2" thick on a lightly floured surface. Cut into star shapes and place on the baking tray.

Bake for 8-10 minutes until pale golden. Set aside to cool slightly.

Whisk the egg white until softly peaking. Gradually add the remaining sugar, whisking constantly until stiff and glossy.
7.
Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the biscuits, as in the photo. Return to the oven and bake for 8- 10 minutes, until the meringue is crisp and the biscuits are cooked through. Cool on the baking tray for 10 minutes, then carefully remove and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
