500 grams Green cabbage
250 grams starchy potatoes
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsps butter
800 milliliters Vegetable broth

Preparation steps

Soak the beans overnight. Rinse and trim the cabbage, remove the core, and cut into pieces. Peel and dice the potatoes. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Sauté the garlic and the cabbage in the butter, then delgaze with the broth.

Add the potatoes and beans, then season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the bacon, and simmer an additional 5 minutes. Mix in the parsley, adjust the seasoning, and serve.
