- For the filling
- 1 Tbsp sunflower oil
- ⅔ cup Minced Beef
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- ½ habanero Chili (deseeded and finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Curry paste
- 2 large Tomatoes (deseeded and finely diced)
- 1 Tbsp thyme (finely chopped)

Preparation steps
1.
Whizz the pastry ingredients in a food processor or rub together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add just enough water to form a stiff dough, wrap in cling film and chill for 30 minutes.
2.
Heat the oven to 200C (180C fan) 400F, gas 6.
3.
Heat the oil in a wide pan and cook the beef until browned all over. Add the onion, garlic and chilli and cook for a further 5 minutes.
4.
Stir in the curry paste, diced tomatoes and thyme, cook for 5 more minutes then add the breadcrumbs and season with salt and pepper.
5.
Divide the pastry into 8 pieces and roll each one out to a circle about 12 cm in diameter.
6.
Place a little of the filling onto the circles, fold over and press the edges together with a fork.
7.
Place the patties on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
