1 Carp about 1.2 kg (ready to cook without head)
vegetable oil (for the pan)
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 organic Orange
2 Tbsps honey
50 grams Walnut

Preparation steps

Grease baking pan with oil.

Halve orange, cut one half into slices and squeeze juice from another.

Rinse carp thoroughly and score on one side 4-5 times. Season with salt and pepper inside and out, stuff with orange slices. Place, scored side up, into the baking pan. Whisk honey with orange juice and coat fish with the mixture. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 40 minutes. Every now and then, baste fish with cooking juices. Remove from oven and serve.
