Preparation steps

1.

For the pizza bases, place the flour into a bowl. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in 120 ml of lukewarm water (approximately 1/2 cup). Pour into the flour, along with the oil and salt and bring together with the dough hook of a hand mixer until a smooth dough is formed. Shape into a ball and leave covered in a warm place for about 1 hour.

2.

For the topping, rinse and trim the vegetables. Cut four triangles as a cat nose from the red wax peppers and cut the rest into strips, along with the yellow bell pepper. Cut the zucchini into 12 thin slices. Thinly slice the mushrooms and tomatoes.

3.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400ºF) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Divide the dough into four equal pieces and roll them out in the form of a cat head.

Spread each base with the tomato purée and shower with gouda. Cut the mozzarella into slices and distribute on top.

Arrange the salami and yellow peppers into ears for the cat. Distribute the mushrooms around the outer edge. Lay the zucchini and tomato slices for the eyes, and push a zucchini slice under the cheese as a tongue. Make a nose with red peppers and season the pizza with salt, pepper and oregano.

Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

To serve, place the chives as whiskers on the cat's face.
