4
- Ingredients
- 250 grams Puff pastry dough (frozen)
- 3 ripe Figs
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 100 grams grated Cheese (such as Gouda or Emmentaler)
Preparation steps
1.
Thaw the puff pastry. Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F) convection. Rinse the figs, trim and thinly slice lengthwise. Rinse the rosemary, shake dry, pluck the needles and chop coarsely. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the puff pastry into a 24 cm (approximately 8 inches) round. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
2.
Prick the base several times with a fork, sprinkle with cheese, arrange the fig slices on top, sprinkle with rosemary and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool briefly then serve.
