Preparation steps

Defrost the puff pastry. Divide three sheets of puff pastry in half, roll out slightly and cut out stars. Cut out the center of each star. Brush the stars with egg yolk and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut out small stars from the last sheet of puff pastry, then add them to the baking sheet. Bake at 220°C (approximately 425°F) for 12 minutes.

For the filling, mix the quark with sour cream and season with salt and pepper. Rinse the dill, remove some sprigs for the garnish, then chop the rest finely and mix with the cheese. Fill the stars with the cheese filling and place the caviar on top. Place on a plate and decorate with pastry stars and dill.
