2 Tbsps sunflower oil
400 grams Ground meat (such as beef)

800 grams Kidney beans (canned)
450 grams crushed Tomatoes (canned)
750 milliliters Beef stock
2 tsps Chili powder
4 Tbsps Crème fraiche

Preparation steps

1.

Peel onion and garlic and finely chop. Heat oil in a saucepan. Sauté onion and garlic while stirring. Add ground beef to the saucepan and cook crumbly fry over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.

Add tomatoes to the saucepan. Bring to a boil, then pour half of beef broth into the saucepan, cover and simmer over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Stir again. Drain beans. Add remaining beef stock and boil. Add beans and chili powder, reduce the heat, simmer another 5 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Serve chilli con carne in bowls with a dollop of creme fraiche. Serve with tortilla chips if desired.
