100 grams brown sugar
1 pinch ground cloves
1 pinch ground allspice
3 Tbsps Cocoa
1 egg
200 grams butter

Preparation steps

1.

Mix the flour, sugar, spices and cocoa. Form a well in the center and pour in the beaten egg. Chop the butter into small pieces and distribute around the flour. Chop the ingredients with a large knife and knead into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in plastic and chill for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Roll the dough out on a floured surface until it is approximately 5 mm thick. Using a cookie cutter, cut out stars. Place the stars on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
