400 grams ground almonds
3 egg whites
300 grams sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
Fat (for the baking sheet)

Preparation steps

1.

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Gradually sprinkle in the sugar. Add the lemon juice and mix well. Remove about 4 tablespoons for the glaze. Add the almonds and cinnamon to the remaining mixture and mix gently.

Sprinkle the work surface with sugar and roll out the dough. Sprinkle the dough with more sugar. Use a cookie cutter to cut out stars.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Grease a baking sheet with oil. Place the stars on the baking sheet. Spread the glaze on top. Bake for about 12 minutes. Remove from the oven, cool on a wire rack and serve.
