1 pkg frozen Puff pastry dough
½ fresh Coconut
50 centiliters milk
50 grams sugar
2 Tbsps Pastry flour
1 egg
1 Tbsp Bourbon vanilla
2 Tbsps freshly grated Nutmeg

Preparation steps

Thaw puff pastry according to package instructions, roll out and place  into a greased pie dish (28 cm in diameter) (approximately 10 inches). Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool. Open coconut and grate pulp. Whisk egg. Heat milk briefly. Add flour to lukewarm milk and mix well.

Add sugar, coconut, egg, vanilla and nutmeg and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes or until cream thickens. Spread cream on baked puff pastry and bake in preheated oven at 240°C (approximately 465°F) for about 30 minutes or until cake is lightly browned. Remove from oven and serve.
