Preparation

Kitchen utensils

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Peeler, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Pot mit Deckel, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Large knife, 1 Immersion blender, 1 Nutmeg grater, 1 Paper towel

Preparation steps

1.
Add the sugar to the freshly made hot coffee and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Scrape the seeds out of half of a vanilla bean and put into the hot coffee with the bean. Leave to infuse.
2.
Then remove the vanilla bean and let the coffee cool. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
3.
Cut a few slices from one of the bananas before peeling it and brush with maple syrup to stop them going brown. Peel the rest of the bananas and puree in a blender with the coffee and almonds.
4.
Add the ice cubes and blend again until the ice cubes are roughly crushed. Pour into two glasses, garnish with the prepared banana slices and a little mint and serve at once.
