2 cups milk
2 large eggs
2 cups Polenta (cornmeal)
½ cup Corn starch
6 tsps Baking powder
3 tsps sugar
1 tsp salt

1 Bowl, 1 Hand mixer, 1 quadratische Baking dish (24x24 cm), 1 Rubber spatula, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Small bowl, 1 Peeler, 1 Small knife, 1 Teaspoon

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 200°C (180° fan) 400°F gas 6. Grease a rectangular baking dish.

Whisk together the butter, milk and eggs in a mixing bowl.
3.
Mix together the polenta, cornflour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Stir into the egg mixture until just combined.
4.
Spoon into the baking dish and bake for 20-30 minutes until golden. Insert a skewer into the centre of the bread- it should come out dry. Serve warm with tomato relish.
