400 milliliters boiling water
For the syrup
250 grams sugar
l water
2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 Tbsps Orange blossom water
2 Tbsps Rose water
250 grams dried Figs
4 Tbsps chopped Pistachio

Preparation steps

1.

For the couscous: Combine couscous with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and keep warm.

For the syrup: Combine sugar with water and boil for about 10 minutes.

Strain lemon juice through a sieve into sugar water. Add orange blossom water and figs and cook for about 5 minutes. Add rose water and remove from heat. Cool slightly and combine with coucous, add pistachios and serve.
