250 grams sugar
100 grams Cultured butter
500 grams Quark
1 egg
lemons (zest)
250 grams Pastry flour
2 packets vanilla pudding mix
½ packet Baking powder
l low fat milk (1.5%)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse cranberries, trim and drain. Peel apples, cut into quarters, remove cores and grate coarsely. Mix with cranberries and half the sugar.

2.

Cream butter and remaining sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in quark, egg and lemon peel. Sift in flour, vanilla pudding powder and baking soda. Mix and gradually stir in milk.

3.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour in batter, smooth and top with fruit mixture.

4.

Place in center of a cold oven and turn temperature to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

5.

Bake for 45 minutes. Remove and let cool. Slice and serve.
