- 125 grams softened butter
- 80 grams sugar
- 40 grams honey
- 2 medium eggs
- organic Oranges (zested)
- 100 grams Pastry flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 grams ground Hazelnuts
- 50 milliliters Mulled wine (or red)
- 100 grams dried Cranberry
- Ingredients
- 125 grams powdered sugar (sifted)
- 2 Tbsps Orange liqueur
- dried Cranberry (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Beat the butter until creamy. Gradually stir in the sugar, honey, eggs and orange zest. Mix the flour, baking powder and hazelnuts. Alternately stir the flour mixture and mulled wine into the butter mixture. Fold in the cranberries.

Line a muffin tin with paper cups. Pour the batter into the muffin tin. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 175°C (approximately 350°F). Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.

Mix the powdered sugar and cointreau into a smooth icing. Pour the icing into a piping bag with a thin spout and decorate the muffins. Serve garnished with dried cranberries.
