Preparation steps

Mix cream and sugar in a saucepan. Heat cream mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer while stirring until mixture is light brown and sugar begins to caramelize, 45-60 minutes. Remove cream mixture from the heat and stir in powdered sugar. Line a rectangular baking pan with oiled aluminum foil. Pour caramel mixture into prepared pan and let cool. Cut caramels into pieces to serve.
