9 ozs slivered almonds
3 Tbsps sugar
1 Vanilla bean (seeds scraped)
9 ozs Dark couverture chocolate
2 tsps Coconut oil

Preparation steps

1.

Toast the almonds in a dry frying pan. Remove from pan and let cool. Boil 1 tablespoon water, the sugar and vanilla seeds in a pot until the sugar dissolves. Add the almonds, mix well and leave to cool.

Chop the chocolate coarsely and melt with the coconut oil in a heat-proof bowl placed over a pot of simmering water. Stir in the almonds. Using a teaspoon, place small clusters of the chocolate almonds on parchment paper or in paper candy cups and allow to cool.
