- 800 grams
- 600 grams waxy potatoes
- 2 sliced onions
- 200 grams Celery
- 200 milliliters fish stock
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps Peanut oil
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 tsp chopped fennel seeds
- 1 generous pinch chopped allspice
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 Tbsp scallions
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps

Rinse and chop celery.

Peel potatoes and cut in half or quarters, depending on size.

Heat butter in a pan and sauté onions, garlic and celery. Add fennel seeds, allspice, oregano and thyme and pour in stock.
4.
Add potatoes, cover pan, and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes. Add eel and simmer, do not boil, for another 15 min.
5.
Mix in fresh herbs and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
