Preparation steps

Rinse the elderberries and pat dry. Bring 750 ml (approximately 3 cups) of water and the elderberries to a boil. Add the cinnamon and cloves. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool and pour through a cloth-lined sieve. Pour the juice back into the pot. Add the sugar, lemon juice and orange juice. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for about 4-5 minutes. Pour into prepared bottles. Seal tightly and let cool before serving.
