Preparation steps

1.

Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise. Rinse the elderflowers and pat dry. Rinse the lemon and cut into slices.

2.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, 1 liter of water, elderflowers, vanilla bean and lemon slices. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Carefully pour into a clean bottle or jar.
