100 milliliters milk
2 eggs
2 Tbsps butter
4 slices white bread
500 grams mixed Berry (Strawberries, raspberries, or other berries)
2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 Tbsps powdered sugar

Preparation steps

Whisk milk and eggs. Heat butter in a pan. Dip bread in the milk-egg mixture and fry in melted butter until golden-brown, about 3 minutes per side.

Rinse berries. In a saucepan, combine berries with 50 ml (approximately 1/4 cup) water, lemon juice and powdered sugar. Bring briefly to a boil. To serve, divide french toast among plates and top with berry sauce.
