Toast the pine nuts in a dry frying pan, remove, and set aside.

Rinse, dry, and remove the leaves from the basil. Puree with the pine nuts, parmesan, half of the oil, salt, and pepper. Mix in the remaining oil until your desired consistency is reached. Place in a glass dish for serving.
