Preparation

Kitchen utensils

1 Pot, 1 Bowl, 1 Small bowl, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Sieve, 1 Grill pan, 1 Wooden skewer, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Fork

Preparation steps

1.
Using a small knife, scrape the seeds out of the vanilla bean. In a small saucepan, combine vanilla bean, seeds, sugar, grated citrus zests, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer gently until sugar has dissolved and liquid is syrupy, about 20 to 25 minutes.
2.
Remove syrup from heat and add the orange and lemon juices, stirring to incorporate. Allow to cool slightly.
3.
Combine the berries in a serving bowl. Strain the still warm syrup over the berries and marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
4.
Garnish with fresh mint, orange and lime zest. Serve and enjoy.
