1 cup water
2 ½ cups frozen mixed berries
½ cup caster sugar

Preparation steps

1.
Combine the water, berries and sugar in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat until softened.

Blend the mixture in a food processor until smooth. Pass it through a sieve into the bowl of an ice cream machine.
3.
Churn the mixture in the ice cream machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions until frozen and set. Cover and freeze for 2 hours.
4.
Remove the sorbet from the freezer 10 minutes before serving. Scoop into martini glasses and serve.
