2 large carrots (peeled and diced)

1 Gala Apple (peeled, cored, and diced)
2 Tbsps water
1 large, ripe Banana (peeled and diced)
For the blueberry, apple, and peach puree
½ cup Blueberries (washed)
1 Gala Apple (peeled, cored and diced)
1 ripe Peach (pitted and diced)
2 Tbsps water
For the potato and leek puree
2 floury potatoes (peeled and diced)
½ small Leek (sliced and washed)
½ Tbsp butter

Preparation steps

For the carrot puree:

Place the carrots in a steaming basket over a half-filled saucepan of boiling water. Steam for 15 - 20 minutes until very tender. Combine the cooked carrot with a couple of tablespoons of cooking water in a food processor or use a hand blender. Puree until smooth. Cover and chill until needed or serve lukewarm.

For the banana and apple puree:

Combine the apple and water in a saucepan. Cook over a medium heat for 5 minutes until softened. Combine with the banana and using a hand blender, puree until smooth. Thin down with apple juice, formula or breast milk if desired. Cover and chill until needed or serve lukewarm.

For the blueberry, apple, and peach puree:

Combine the blueberry, apple, peach, and water in saucepan. Cook over a medium heat for 5 - 6 minutes until the apple is tender. Transfer the fruit and juices to a food processor, or use a hand blender and blend until smooth. Cover and chill until needed or serve lukewarm.

For the potato and leek puree:

Place the potato and leek separately in a two section steaming basket over a half-filled saucepan of boiling water. Steam for 18 - 22 minutes until very tender. Mash the potato until very smooth. Using a hand blender, puree the leek with 1 - 2 tbsp of the cooking water, formula, or breast milk and blend until smooth. Mix together the potato and leek puree and thin as desired with formula or breast milk. Cover and chill until needed or serve lukewarm.
