- 3.3 lbs Fruit (such as bananas, strawberries, grapes, pears, pineapple, apples)
- 5 ozs Dark couverture chocolate
- 3 Tbsps almonds

Preparation steps
Prepare fruits: Peel banana; rinse and drain berries and grapes; peel, quarter and core pears and apples. Peel and core pineapple. Depending on the size, leave fruit whole or cut into bite-sized pieces.
Chop chocolate coarsely and place in a metal bowl.
Set bowl over a pot filled with a few inches of water.
Melt chocolate while stirring over low heat.
Toast almonds in a dry non-stick pan until golden brown. Put on a plate and let cool.
Alternately, thread fruit on 16 wooden skewers and set fruit skewers side by side on a large piece of parchment paper (about 50 x 40 cm) (approximately 20 x 15 inches).
Drizzle melted chocolate over the fruit skewers, turning the skewers to coat all sides.
Sprinkle fruit skewers with almonds and let chocolate set before serving.
