- For the garlic baguette
- 3 garlic cloves
- 125 grams soft Herb butter (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 Baguette
- For 300 grams of herb butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 grams soft butter
- 120 Tbsps chopped, roasted Shelled pistachio (or black olives)
- 2 tsps finely chopped thyme
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- salt (to taste)
Preparation steps
1.
For the garlic baguette, peel the garlic and crush into the herb butter.
Slice the baguette at roughly 2 cm intervals (approximately 3/4 inch), but do not cut through. Place garlic butter slices into the incisions.
Wrap the bread in foil and grill for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
2.
For the herb butter, peel and crush the garlic. Beat the butter in a warm bowl until fluffy and mix with the garlic, the herbs and the lemon juice and season with salt.
Wrap the butter in plastic wrap, shaped into a roll and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut into slices before use.
