600 grams small, new potatoes
1 Tbsp Sea salt
4 Camembert (such as Le Rustique, about 250 grams)
2 garlic cloves
2 sprigs thyme
Pickle (for serving)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the potatoes thoroughly and place in a steamer. Season with salt, and cover and cook over hot steam for about 25 minutes.

Unpack the camembert and place back in the wooden box. Place over the oven rack without lid and repeatedly cut easily with a knife. 

3.

Peel the garlic, cut into slices and place into the slits of camembert. Strip the thyme, sprinkle over the camembert and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F) until the camembert is melted, about 15 minutes.

4.

Serve in the wooden box with the potatoes and pickles.
