Its curcumin makes Turmeric so healthy, because it promotes the flow of bile and thus fat digestion. In combination with piperine from black Pepper it can be absorbed particularly well. Coconut oil consists of about half medium-chain fatty acids (MCT). Our body can absorb these quickly and utilize them easily.
You would prefer to prepare the Golden Turmeric Milk vegan? No problem: Simply replace the honey with a vegetable sweetener. Agave syrup is a good example.

- ¼ oz Turmeric (in one piece)
- ½ oz ginger roots
- 1 pinch peppers
- 1 tsp Coconut oil
- 1 pinch ground Cardamom
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 36 ozs Almond milk
- 2 Tbsps honey
Preparation steps
Peel and finely grate turmeric and ginger with a teaspoon. Put in a pot together with 1 pinch of pepper, coconut oil, cardamom, 1 pinch of cinnamon and almond drink.
Heat everything over medium heat and let steep covered for about 10 minutes. Sweeten golden turmeric milk with honey and whisk. Then divide among 4 mugs and serve.
