- 400 grams (approximately 14 ounces)beef and Ground lamb (The 400 g)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- salt
- peppers
- 2 tsps ground paprika
- bay leaves
- vegetable oil (for grill grates)
- Wooden skewer
Preparation steps

Push the garlic through a garlic press. Heat the oil in a skillet and add the garlic and onion. Cook until the onion is translucent. Transfer to a bowl and knead well with the ground beef and lamb mixture, the egg, salt, pepper and paprika.

Heat the grill to medium and lightly oil the grates. Form the meat mixture into thumb-sized sausages and place 1 each sausage and bay leaf crosswise on skewers. Grill, turning the skewers as they brown until cooked to desired degree of doneness, about 15 minutes. Alternatively, saute in a skillet with a little oil. Serve with red onion rings.
