2 Tbsps Tomato paste
1 Tbsp Chinese 5 spice powder
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
50 milliliters soy sauce

Preparation steps

Rinse the ribs and pat dry. Precook the ribs by simmering for 15 minutes in a pot of water. Meanwhile, mix together tomato paste, Chinese 5-spice powder, ginger and soy sauce. Pat the pork ribs dry and brush with marinade. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes on a medium hot grill, turning occasionally.
