Preparation steps

1.

For the dough: combine yeast with 250 ml (approximately 1 cup) of lukewarm water and a pinch of sugar, whisk until smooth. Combine with flour, salt and olive oil in a mixing bowl and process with the dough attachment of the hand mixer into smooth dough. Let rise, covered, for about 1 hour in a warm place or an oven preheated to 50°C (approximately 125°F).

2.

For the topping: peel cucumber, halve lengthwise and remove seeds, cut crosswise into thin slices.

3.

Rinse and dry scallions, cut into thin rings.

4.

Heat oil in a pan and saute meat until crumbly.

5.

Add cucumber, scallions and squeezed through a press garlic to the meat and saute for about 3 minutes, stirring. Season with salt and pepper.

6.

Knead dough on a floured surface well.

7.

Oil baking sheet and line with rolled out dough. Spread with canned tomatoes and meat mixture. Season with freshly ground pepper.

8.

Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (center, fan oven 180°C) (approximately 400°F) for about 20-25 minutes.

9.

Crumble feta cheese and sprinkle on pizza 5 minutes before the end of baking. Remove from oven and serve.
