- 14 ozs ribbon pasta
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper
- 1 ⅔ cups cooked ham (diced)
- 1 Tbsp soft butter
- 2 Tbsps breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cream
- 2 Tbsps Crème fraiche
- ½ cup Cheddar cheese (grated)
- Nutmeg
- 2 Tbsps fresh Chives (chopped)

Preparation steps
1.
Cook the ribbon pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente. Drain, refresh with cold water then drain again.

Separate the eggs. Mix the cream and the crème fraîche with the egg yolks until smooth. Stir in the grated cheese and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add the diced ham and mix well with the ribbon pasta. Whisk the egg whites until stiff, then fold into the pasta.
3.
Butter a baking dish and coat the base with breadcrumbs. Put the ribbon pasta mix in the dish and place in a pre-heated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle the chopped chives over the top and serve.
