16 ozs lean Ground beef (chuck; round or sirloin)
½ cup minced onions
2 cloves garlic cloves (peeled and pressed)
Montreal steak seasoning
4 Hamburger bun (split)
1 handful Lettuce (rinsed)
1 Red onion (sliced)
Dill Pickle (drained)
1 large, ripe Tomato (rinsed; trimmed and thinly sliced)
Condiments your favorite (relish, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, etc. )

Preparation steps

Preheat gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, minced onion and pressed garlic. Shape into patties and sprinkle with Montreal Steak Seasoning.

Grill to your liking, about 5 to 7 minutes per side for medium. To check for doneness, insert an instant-read thermometer through the side of the burger until you reach the center. The internal temperature should be at least 160º F.

To assemble the burgers: Spread your favorite condiment on the cut side of the bottom bun and layer with lettuce, burger, pickles, onion, and tomato slices. Top with your favorite condiment, ketchup, relish, mayonnaise, etc. , and remaining bun top. Serve.
