- 500 grams potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 250 grams Vacherin cheese
- 3 Tbsps butter
- 4 Tbsps sunflower oil
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
Preparation steps

Peel and coarsely grate the potatoes. Press well to extract as much liquid as possible. Place the potatoes in a bowl and mix with the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 150°C (approximately 300°F). In a large skillet, heat a little butter and oil. Place the potatoes in small heaps in the hot pan. Press flat and fry on both sides until crispy brown.

Remove and degrease on paper towels. Keep warm. Cut the cheese into thin slices and cover the potatoes. Place in the oven to melt the cheese. When all potatoes are completed in the same way, season with pepper and serve with a mixed salad.
