100 grams Spinach (frozen or 250 grams fresh)
1 small onion
1 clove garlic cloves
1 Tbsp vegetable oil

200 grams potatoes (peeled)

breadcrumbs (as needed)
sweet ground paprika
50 grams Feta
1 Tbsp Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 220°C (approximately 425°F).

Thaw, drain and chop the spinach. (If using fresh spinach, rinse and trim, and leave dripping. Add to boiling salted water, then drain, rinse and drain. Squeeze and chop.)

Peel the onion and garlic and finely dice. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion mixture, season with salt and pepper, remove from heat and mix in the spinach. Finely grate the potatoes, mix with the ground meat, spinach-onion mixture and egg, and add the breadcrumbs as needed, kneading the mixture until it is easy to work with. Line a muffin tin with paper liners and shape the meat mixture into 12 balls. Place each ball in a muffin cup and press gently. Cut the feta into 12 cubes and sprinkle on the meat balls with the sesame seeds. Bake in the oven about 15-20 minutes or until done. Remove from the oven and serve.
