Ingredients

For the meatballs
1 handful parsley
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
5 Tbsps olive oil
200 grams Chorizo
300 grams Ground meat (mixed)
1 tsp ground paprika (sweet)
1 pinch Red pepper flakes
salt
peppers
1 Tbsp breadcrumbs
400 grams crushed Tomatoes (canned)
100 grams white Beans (canned)

Preparation steps

Rinse parsley and finely chop. Peel onion and garlic and finely chop. Saute both in 1 tablespoon oil and remove from heat. Remove chorizo from skin and cube. Mix ground beef with chorizo, half of onion mixture, paprika, chile flakes and half the parsley. Season with salt and pepper and knead. If necessary, add breadcrumbs to thicken mixture. Shape mixture into meatballs and cook in remaining oil on all sides for about 10 minutes.

Simmer meatballs in tomatoes with remaining onion mixture and drained beans for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with remaining parsley. Serve with vegetables and rice if desired.
