As for the choice of herbs, you can give free rein to your imagination: Other combinations also taste very good, such as basil and parsley or rosemary and thyme. You can also replace the Gouda with other cheeses, for example Parmesa, Pecorino or goat Gouda.

- 30 ozs waxy potatoes
- ¼ oz cornstarch (1 TBSP.)
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- salt
- 1 bunch Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme)
- 1 oz Gouda
Preparation steps
Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into sticks, wash in a bowl of cold water, drain and pat dry on kitchen paper.
Add cornstarch and mix well. Mix in oil and salt as well. Spread fries on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C / 350 °F for 30 minutes, turning fries after 15 minutes.
In the meantime, grate cheese. Wash herbs, shake dry, chop and add to cheese. Salt fries and sprinkle with herb-cheese mix.
