Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Arrange sweet potato slices in one layer in a shallow baking dish or pan. Drizzle butter evenly over potatoes. Pour orange juice into dish. Sprinkle potato slices lightly with nutmeg.

Bake, uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes or until potato slices are fork tender, basting frequently with juice in dish. Sprinkle potatoes with salt, just before serving. Spoon remaining liquid in dish or pan over potatoes and garnish as desired.
