- 2 Chicken breasts (skinned)
- 2 slices white Bread (toasted and crumbled)
- 2 Tbsps Yogurt
- 1 clove garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 red chili pepper (deseeded and finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 1 fresh ginger (peeled and grated)
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 4 Tbsps sunflower oil
- For the sauce
- 1 ⅛ cups Yogurt
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp fresh mint (chopped)
- To serve
- 1 Pita bread (toasted and cut into wedges)
- ½ Cucumber (cut into fine strips)

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 2 canning jars (à 400 ml), 1 Teaspoon, 1 Bowl, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Brush, 1 Whisk, 1 Dough scraper, 1 deep bowl, 1 Tea strainer
Preparation steps

Finely chop or mince the chicken breasts and mix with the toasted bread crumbs, yoghurt, garlic, chilli, coriander, ginger, turmeric and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper and shape the mixture into patties.

To make the sauce, mix the yoghurt with the lemon juice and chopped mint. Season with salt and set aside.

Heat the oil in a wide pan and fry the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown.
4.
Skewer the patties onto the pitta bread with the cucumber strips and serve with the sauce alongside.
