Remember that anchovy filets are the most flavorful variety, but also the most caloric. Use anchovies in water if you're looking to cut the calorie count of this recipe.

- 2 cups ready made pizza dough mix
- plain flour (for rolling)
- 1 clove garlic cloves
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 pinch dried, red chili peppers
- 1 cup tomato passata
- 2 cups canned Artichoke hearts (drained and diced)
- 8 Anchovy fillet (drained and cut in half)
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 20 pitted black olives
- salt
- peppers
Preparation steps
1.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface.

Peel and crush the garlic and mix it with the olive oil.
3.
Cut out 16 small circles of the dough and brush with the olive oil and garlic mixture.
4.
Place oil side down on a baking tray and grill under a pre-heated grill for approximately 2-3 minutes until it starts to crisp and brown. Remove from the heat.
5.
In a bowl mix the chillies with the passata and some salt and pepper and blend well.
6.
Spread the tomato puree over the pizza bases, top each one with a piece of artichoke, an anchovy fillet, some Parmesan cheese, and then a black olive.
7.
Return the pizzas to the grill and cook under a moderate heat until the tops are cooked and crisp and the bottoms are cooked through, 3-4 minutes.
