Ingredients

For the salad
½ Cucumber (diced)
3 Tomatoes (diced)
3 scallions (cut into rings)
2 sprigs Basil (chopped)
2 sprigs parsley (chopped)
¾ cup Feta (crumbled or diced)
2 Tbsps olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
For the yoghurt dressing
cup Greek yogurt
2 Tbsps Sour cream
For the burgers
2 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
3.333 cups minced lamb
Chili powder
breadcrumbs (as required)
4 Pita bread (approx. 10 cm diameter each)

Preparation steps

1.
To make the salad, mix together all the ingredients.
2.
To make the dressing, mix together the yoghurt and the cream and season with salt and ground black pepper.
3.
To make the burgers, mix together the meat and the garlic with a pinch of chilli powder and season with salt and ground black pepper. Knead well and if necessary work in some breadcrumbs. Shape the mixture into 4 equally sized burgers.
4.
Place the burgers on the grill and cook for 5-8 min, turning occasionally. For the last three minutes, add the pita breads to the grill and toast until golden.
5.
Spread the pita breads with the yoghurt dressing, place a burger on top and garnish with the salad. Serve on a platter.
