Ingredients
for
4
- Ingredients
- 400 grams flat piece Roast beef (Sirloin, trimmed ready to cook)
- 16 sprigs Lemongrass
- 1 Lime (juiced)
- 4 Tbsps Rice wine
- 2 Tbsps Teriyaki sauce
- 2 Tbsps sesame oil
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the meat, pat dry and cut into about 16 thin slices. Trim and peel lemongrass, cut off the tips at an angle and cut the tender sections into thin rings. Wrap and press each lemongrass stem with a steak slice. Mix cut lemongrass with the lime juice, rice wine and teriyaki sauce mix. Spread over the meat and infuse for about 15 minutes. Then take out of the marinade and brown in a pan in oil for 2-5 minutes (depending on the desired doneness). Pour in the marinade and heat, place on plates and pour the marinade on top.
2.
Serve with additional teriyaki sauce for dipping, if desired.
