Preparation steps

1.

Place the tea leaves in a pot and pour 1 quart of water that has boiled and then sat for 5 minutes over the tea. Let steep 2-3 minutes. Pour through a sieve and return the tea leaves to the pot. Discard the first infusion.

Pour hot, not boiling water over the tea leaves and steep 3 minutes. Pour through a sieve into a shallow bowl and stir in the sugar, let cool.

Juice the limes and add to the tea. Place in the freezer and stir every 30 minutes with a fork to prevent large ice crystals from forming. Freeze about 4 hours, Serve garnished with mint leaves.
